yeah totally agree that the grasskeets dont act the same as regular parrots - i see a world of difference between them and budgies and cockatiels even.

Eric&Rebecca, great to hear the little guy is stepping up, chirping, preening, and all that good stuff! he's really making great progress!

I've heard the Red Rumpeds have BEAUTIFUL voices - the males are supposed to sing very sweetly.
i think all the grasskeets are known to sing nicely - my Bourke sings lovely songs in the morning and evening! :violin:

Yeah! He's starting doing little chirps so I'm sure it won't be long. He's eating sooo much too. Might start him on pellets a veggies at the rate he's going! For some reason he not keen on spray millet, he just doesn't seem to want touch it. Maybe that's a grass keet thing too.

I agree he's totally different to the tiel but I don't think that's a bad thing. I want all my birds to have different personalities. We need more placid one because our tiel is a maniac! lol
