Safe Cellophane?

Postby JaydeParrot » Sun Jun 02, 2013 12:38 pm

My birds poop tends to stick to the wall near their cage and is a nightmare to clean off. There's not really anywhere else to put them, and because of their open cage policy I worry that glossing the wall behind their cage would be out of the question.

I have alot of sticky back cellophane, would it be a good idea to stick this to the wall behind their cage or it possible they may attempt to rip it off and eat it?

Why don't you try putting a sheet of plexiglass on the wall? It works great with birds (they don't chew it, it's easy to clean and it doesn't look like a patch against the paint of your wall).

It would be big enough for my Senegal to turn around and strench her wings in, while also acting like a see through force-field to prevent anything accidentally hitting her (e.g.- a child's tennis ball). I've got other cages but the one I saw could be easily carried, without being a hinderance to carry around or hold on a lap.

Siamon, why did you write exactly what I wrote in a different part of this forum (housing section- the subject called poaching cage) and what does that have to do with cellophane?
