Rainbow loves to travel and enjoys new places. He did very well with the 12 hour trip to get here but would have done better near a window for more of an adventure. I did make the mistake of putting his cage near a window for him to see out. It was a year before I realized that is why he was quiet and would not leave the room. I had to bring his cage out to the dining room to keep him involved with the family. He watched all of us and decided that this was a different place but it was home.

I never close the door on the cage so he climbs to the top to watch everything.

Mine love to travel too and wear a harness so the experience is much more enjoyable but im sure they would absolutely hate to travel country to country for months.
