I need to find a cage big enough for two Senegals to happily fit and live in for a few days but it also needs to fold down small enough to fit in the back of a small car, does anyone know of a cage or at least know what are the absolute minimum dimensions to fit two Sennies in?

Also, I may need to carry the parrots on a half an hour walk at least once a day, is there a very small carry cage anyone knows of or will the small dog carrier I have be good enough?

Also, I don't have a caravan (I have a three person tent) but people are trying to convince me that my Sennies would do ok camping, does anyone have any experiance of taking parrots camping/have any advise of how or if it is wise to take two bonded parrots camping?

I know people might state the obvious and say find someone to take care of them but there is literally no-one I trust to look after them and I don't know the few small pet sitter companies near me well enough to know if they are legit or not.

Thanks for any advise you may have.

Well, first of all, you need to find a bird sitter around your area because sooner or later, you will need one.

Camping with birds is a real bad idea. For one thing, it's hard to feed them (you would need an entire cooler just for their produce), for another, you need to keep your eye on them ALL THE TIME because there are lots and lots of predators in the wild. And, last but not least, they won't be able to get out of the cage at all (which is, of course, not fair to them) and even not taking them out there is still a danger that they might get away and, if they do, they are dead because you will never find them again and they will not be able to survive.

As to the cage, I have no idea, my able-bodied birds all live cage-free and the ones that are handicapped live in flight cages.

Another camping issue can be the smoke from the campfire. I've seen many people who have brought their birdies with them but mostly the one's that have big motorhomes or campers and put them inside in the filtered homes.
