Cage placement

Postby NHCardinal » Wed Aug 07, 2013 3:53 pm

The TV room is only the second most active place in the house, the first is my office where I'm typing this from. Is it more important to get your bird acquainted to the area it will be living in long-term or is it more important to just have the bird near you?

I prefer to situate cages in a quiet low traffic place and have the bird out as much as possible. A climbing tree, t-stand, or alternate cage where you spend time are better. That way the bird can become accustomed to quiet alone time but also spend time out with you.
