I am very, very happy!

Yesterday my mom and I shopped our butts off for the birds. We went to four different pet stores, got toys, cuttlebone, shredding stuff, some millet, and so on. So our last stop was at a PetSmart, where they probably have the best bird section compared to any of the others. We were looking at the toys when my mom turned around and spotted this playgym. It was marked to clear, and it was the only one there. The best thing about it?

Original price- $130
New marked price- $33.

I pretty much grabbed it. I mean, this was a lower price than some of the toys! This morning I assembled it. It's make of painted-over covered metal, I forgot what it's called. I was a bit suspicious because of the low price, but the metal is the same as her cage's. What it came with:

-A swing
-Two ladders
-Two food/water bowl (I think the water bowl will be for bathing, it's HUGE!)
-A place to hang toys
-Some perches
-Removable tray for cleaning and seed catcher
-And a stainless steel skewer for fruit-kebabs (which I love!)

I was also worried it might be too small but it's perfect! I already put an extra toy on it but I literally just finished it. Also, I love that the top can be used as a training perch if I need it.

So yes, I am very satisfied that Peanut now has a decent playgym. The plet is still under quarantine, and she's definitely been tamed before but still scared of hands. If we go slowly, we can pet her head and beak, and she bites only if she feels threatened (we're still trying to figure out if we can take care of another plet, because I don't want her to pluck).

i would think that parrots are easy sleeper. When it gets dark outside and their bio-clock kicks in telling to sleep,
