I know you said you have given up, but I wanted to post this for those still looking. I use a Snuggle Up Bird Warmer. It attaches to the cage bars near a perch. The cord is on the outside and I have it plugged into a surge protector to help prevent shorts. With this method, they can sit on the perch and get as close to or away from the heat as needed.

That's interesting! Do your bird/s use it?

It took them a day to get use to the strange object. Now at least one of the two is usually on that perch when they are in the cage.

That's cool, I bet it would be good to put a perch right above it too. It might be good for me to put up after bath time.

You gave me an idea. I am going to put a perch to the left and right of the warmer in case they both want to get close to it at the same time. :senegal: :senegal:
