Why yes I am. Do we know each other? ^^

We don't know each other, but that picture of your grey looks like was taken at the Bird Hut.

I am in Portland too, visiting Bird Hut regularly, actually bought my Grey there too few years back.

Are you still looking for a cage?

Oh, cool, another Portlander Parront! :D

I use Tiki's cage (my beloved Sennie, whom I lost last Summer) and her cage works quite well for Chance. I had it steamed cleaned/disinfected at the Avian Medical Center -- they are so awesome! Chance is mostly out of the cage anyway, but she is quite petite for a Grey, as she is only about twice the size of Tiki.

Hehehe, yeah, I'm at the Bird Hut all the time, as I buy my supplies there :)

How old is your Grey? And aren't Greys awesome? I love Senegals so much, but they're so different than Greys. Tiki was bold in personality and an amazing climber, whereas Chance is a perch potato and is clumsy, so I have to be careful when she is on my shoulder as she can easily slip off. Chance has a very large vocabulary which never ceases to amaze me, but I also loved my Sennie's tiny voice.

Portland the Grey, indeed! I have yet to go to the bird hut - would you two recommend it? I am wary of buying bird supplies from a place that has birds in contact with the products, given how many nasty diseases can be asymtomatic. What is your take on the care taken there?
