Plum headed parakeet housing

Postby Mohtad allawala » Wed Jan 08, 2014 12:04 pm

Well I came accross the cutest creature called a plum headed conure. I fell in love just like I did with my sun. Went to get a grey and got him instead. So now I'm obviously in love with the plum head and gonna go buy it soon but need to know what kind of cages are suitable for them as there isn't a lot of info on the web. Thanks

The answer is always the same, regardless of the species: the largest one you can find. But, as a minimum, it needs to be five times the span of its wings in width and depth and ten times for the height.
