Budgies

Postby sktlighttime101 » Fri Jul 04, 2014 6:49 pm

Budgies are wonderful pet birds for people who want to see if they are a bird person. budgies are playful active and easy to take care of for starters.you'll need perches, food, a cage, and toys to play with. A few more things you'll need are food dishes, water dishes, litter or newspaper, and finally a budgie which you can buy at your local pet store. Your budgie should get sunshine every week. Budgies should get out of their cage for about an hour or 30 minutes. Make sure all windows and doors are shut. Finally, you can create a wonderful bound with your budgie!! :budgie:

They are also smart. My daughter rescued 2 that were about to be thrown out. Harley is a good boy. Marlie pushed her bird feeder to the side and was on the loose when I got up this morning. Chloe and Jasmine (Chihuahuas) kept chasing Rachel's two bad cats until I could get to her.
This has happened in other ways before. Marlie just seems to be a malcontent.

Awwww, not a malcontent! Nobody likes to be in jail so she is trying to escape and who can blame her? Birds were not meant to be in cages...

budgies are spazzy, shy, and can bite the devil.IMO.
cockatiels are the perfect starter bird IMO. ive held 20-25 of them, and 7-10 of them hissed, but i have never been bit by one. they are easy going, calm, cuddly birds
i'm not going to argue the budgie intelligence because it might offend some people.
