A Cape Parrot is about 12 inches in length, this means that it has a wingspan of about 24 inches. A bird of this size needs a minimum cage size of 24 inches deep( front to back), 48 inches wide( side to side) and 5 feet tall plus stand. This is the smallest cage that it should ever be in except to travel from one place to another place. From this point the largest cage that will fit in your space and that you can afford to get.
