hello,
i am planning on getting a senegal or red cape parrot but i was wandering could i put my parakeet into the same cage as one of these if i was a big macaw cage?????? would they be able to live together or not???? :budgie: :senegal: :budgie: :senegal: :budgie: :senegal:

personally id say no do not put them in the same cage. the thing is you dont know if they would get on at all. they may tolerate each other but they may hate each other on site. and your first bird will have claimed the cage as his, putting another bird into it may cause big problems.

No. Not only is the bar spacing of a macaw cage bad for both birds, poicephalus parrots are extremely aggressive and territorial. I've never heard of a red cape parrot.
