More news on the five stolen parrots: they found the art but not the birds. And, if you look at the descriptions of the parrots, they do not look to be in good shape...

65 parrots (macaws and cockatoos) stolen from a breeding facility -5 died and several were injured in the process. But, what puzzles me is how is it that they were able to do everything they did to get to the birds without anybody hearing anything - I mean, they broke down doors, walls, alarm system, etc so there must have been a lot of racket going on... Didn't these people have somebody there at night watching over the birds?!
