Sweetpea and Papi, zebra finches looking for a home in Chicago - but, in all honesty, who would pay $100 for a useless cage and two birds that cost $7 to $15 each? Rescues do get ridiculous when it comes to the adoption fees of little ones... I remember when, years ago, as a 'special offer' The Gabriel Foundation was offering budgies for $100 each because they had been 'vetted' when you can't even do blood work properly in such a little bird (they charge $20 to $45 now but, if you ask me, they should give them away for free to good homes).
