So I went with my boyfriend to Parrotdise Perch and JAL today cuz I dun see a cage with similar size 24"x22" from Leonard's album.

I was a little disappointed with Parrotdise Perch when I got there. They showed so many different styles on their website but I could only see a few of them at the store (they do have quite a lot of toys though). Many of the cages are either out of stock or needed to be special ordered. BUT MY SUN CANT WAIT! Anyways, they did have this HQ 24"x22" cage with playtop in stock that I wanna get. It's this one here.

My boyfriend didnt like the bars at the bottom of this cage much....he thinks they look weak and awkward.... so we drove up to JAL

It was a bit difficult to find JAL cuz they are not like a store front by the side of the road. We went in and they had all these cages they had left in stock on display. They ran out of a few styles cuz of the moving sale. BUT WHO CARES! I FOUND THIS PERFECT 24"x22" CAGE!! It's this one here but I got it in white. (some one just picked up the last grey like 10mins before i got there...)

It's a lot roomier than it looks from the picture. The lower part seems sturdy enough to my boyfriend.......The coating is as thick and smooth as the HQ cages. And i just paid $185 for this one by cash! it costs almost half of the HQ one. well, ya...it's only cuz of the moving sale so they can price it so low. The people there gave me a copy of detailed installation instruction. They said they took pictures of each step when building the floor demos and made the instructions by themselves. quite impressive eh?

The only problem is that JAL doesnt carry any accessory, so I have to make another trip for toys and stuff. Oh, and their location. It's quit hard to find for the first visit.....guess this is why they are moving.

We are putting the cage together and hope my Sun's gonna love it as much as I do ! lololololol

I'm gonna clean the cage today before letting my Sun go in. Any advice for transferring the bird from a cage to another?

food is a good motivator, decorate it with lots of toys, make sure he sees that its ok for you to be by it, then maybe he'll be more interested, like put your hand inside without him in it then tell him how much fun you are having, etc.

If the travel cage he is in is small enough to pick up easily, you can just put the opening next to the door of the new cage and let him go in on his own.
