Cage Catchers -- best source?

Postby entrancedbymyGCC » Tue Sep 07, 2010 1:59 pm

So, I've now got precut paper to fit the cages and playtops. I thought I would pass along, that as far as I can tell, Drs Foster & Smith has Cage Catchers brand liners for a substantial discount over the pricing at the Cage Catchers web store. They are currently running a sale as well, and Scotty's liners cost nearly HALF what they would have been direct from Cage Catchers! They don't stock all sizes and some of the sizes appear modified, but they do stock sizes that fit both the cages we have. In addition, they have flat rate shipping at $5.99 so one can toss in some toy parts or whatever... Is this the best deal going, or are there other suppliers I should look into?

You got a Kings Cage. Check how much they charge by comparison for the liners for their cage. That's where I got mine but I didn't price around. If you find a better deal for that exact cage, definitely let me know.

One of the sizes Foster and Smith sell are an exact match for the cage as far as I can tell. Kings has free shipping but charges about the same for a pkg of 60 as F&S do for 150.

Ah ok. Maybe I'm just getting a good deal on it cause I'm buying at the warehouse and they give me a discount.

I think I paid $36 for a pack of 150. 22"x31" and seems to fit both trays well, FWIW.

Was that the final price including tax/shipping? Can you post a link, I might look into that next time.

I'm about to order some Cage Catchers tomorrow. So, Foster & Smith is the way to go? If they have my size?

If they don't I guess I'll have to custom order from the actual website.

Michael, got the 22x31 size at $35.99 plus $5.99 flat rate shipping, no sales tax for me. I also got a water bottle and a full spectrum bulb, so the shipping covered that as well.
