Actually it was my choice not to use the feeder doors-- I have never liked having to keep the bowls in one place as I like them all over the cage and I like to change them up frequently. The cage does actually have side doors though for ease of placing perches and such. Lola is very tame though so replacing food bowls-- even for a stranger-- has never been an issue.
As for the rope perches... I just ordered similar ones and am thinking of putting them inside the cage

I usually only use them outside because of the toe-trapping potential, but I will give it a try with her inside when they arrive.
