HI
I have a pair of red rumps. Sometimes the female enters the nest witout the male. But she dont stay there the whole day. The last time i looked in the nest there were no eggs. could this be that she is soon going to produce eggs.

Welcome to the forum, don't know much about Red Rumps, I would think that the hen spending alot of time in the nest is agood thing , have they been activly breeding?Has the male been working on the nest? If yes , i'd bet eggs are next. You might want to post this under General Parrot Care, you may get more response there.Good luck
