Good looking cage for Isis !

Red Sided Eclectus have a wingspan of about 9-10 inches, so I just want to make sure he is not going to damage his feathers. But I'm probably just worrying for nothing, as usual...

The only thing I see is that the rope perches to the right in the photo look as if pooping in the food dishes is possible. In fact, you might want to look the whole thing over from the point of view of where poop may fall... that's my main criterion when (re)arranging, and I never quite get it right, but I try!

You're absolutely right, entranced, but I'll wait to see where his favorite perching spots are, and then I'll move this around.

I've bought another perch for the top part, along with a nice and soft perch buddy so he can feel secure, even without his brother with him... I'm scared he's going to feel lonely the first night. So I got him some nice baby food, just in case. I got bananas and tropical fruits. That should be good comfort food, right ?

It looks fine right now, you shouldn't overcrowd it for the first few weeks, giving your new bird a chance to get used to his new cage. But later on I think I would, in your place, add a toy or two.

I probably will. I love shopping for birds !

And I also got him a basket that I'm filling with whatever appropriate I can find. Can't wait to see if he's interested in those. It's sitting on top of his cage.
