I just did a quick search online, and it says that the minimum cage requirements for a senegal parrot is 20" long x 20" deep x 28" high. I think you are good. But remember, bigger is always better!

Your cage sounds great. I'd put the minimum for a Sennie at 24x24 so you're perfect. The only issue would be the bar spacing. My sennie was in a 3/4 bar spacing for a long time and was fine but if your bird is petite, you might have issues. Just make sure the head can't get stuck but you should be okay if your sennie is of average size.

yes louis will be my first bird. me and my daughter are going shopping on saturday for some toys.

the only thing i dont like about the cage is that the bars are vertical, like a prison. but i can a;ways change it if he doesnt like it. im saying he, i dont know his sex. im going to get a dna done. ive been told he is a boy because of his colouring. i have posted some pics of him on the parrot stories board. let me know what you think, if u look at them.xx
