New GCC Cage

Postby Scarpath » Mon Feb 28, 2011 12:13 pm

I need help picking out a new cage for my 2 GCC. The budgies are going to get their current one once we get a new 1 for them. But anywho I want to get them a cage that stands up on legs and that has a bigger door. (My hand almost can't fit in there! )
So I was wondering if anybody knows about a cage that fits my needs.
Here they are again (along with some new ones),
-stands on legs
-big door
-a door to put food bowls in
-big cage (enough for 2 GCCs)
-can be cleaned easily
-has vertical and horazontal bars
-and lots of room for toys (so again BIG!)
I'm also wondering how they are going to react to the move. They have been in that cage ever since we got them and I'm not sure they are going to like getting a new cage.
(If you have a response please include the store and price (if you can include the models name))
Thanks!

What is your price range?

Earlier this year I updated my cages. I purchased two flight cages from elite pets. http://elite-pets.com/A36.asp

With tax and shipping, the two of them only cost 420$.

Cockatiels are about the same size as GCC. Einstein has a lot of room in his cage. I could comfortably add one more cockatiel in the cage. However, I think he deserves as much room as possible.

I think buying them separate cages could be really good for them. It will give them their own space. You never know if they are going to grow aggressive to each other when they mature, so having them in separate cages is good for their safety.

http://www.parrotdiseperch.com has all HQ cages with free shipping. They have similar styled flight cages.

All of these shops are Canadian, so you won't need to spend an outrageous amount to pay for international shipping.

I like the elite pets cages better!
I won't be putting them in their own cages though because last time they fought and I put them in different cages for the night neither of them slept because the other wasn't there to cuddle with the other. They love each other but hate each other. Ya no? Like me and my sister!
Thanks both of you guys for helping me! I'm gonna show them to my mom right now! See what she thinks!
Thanks again!
