Cage for a barraband

Postby Olliethebarraband » Wed May 11, 2011 6:58 am

Hi I am a first time bird owner and I brought a cage that is suitable size for him but because I am away a long period of time needs to be bigger to hang toys etc so are looking at buying a new cage for him. Any suggestions welcome about the cages or any other knowledge on these birds because there seems to be a very limited amount of info

Thanks

I actually had no idea what a Barraband was, so I had to do some googling. I'd say a flight cage would be good for him. I'm not if sure how big the bird actually is, but it looks similar in size to a small conure. If that's the case, my small conure is in a flight cage measuring 20.5 x 17 x 32.

He seems to love waddling round when out here cage exploring every nook and cranny . He is a quite bird

I am writing this an hour after the first Ollie has sadly passed away to unknown reason
