Suggestions 4 No Mess/Waste Bird Feeders 4 mid to large FIDS

I want to buy a durable, safe enclosed feeder for my Cape's cage; something he can't turn around and poop in, or scatter his pellets out of. I've only seen one related question on this forum, with no response regarding the specific device (Bird-Zerk).

I've found the following brand devices offered on the Internet: Bird-Zerk, BirdManger, Tidy Seed No-mess Bird Feeder and Super Pet Ceramic feeders.

Have any of you actually tried any of these, and if so how would you rate the functionality and quality ?

The acrylic and plexiglass models look like good ideas except the material they’re made from may be too thin for larger birds. Also I don’t like the idea of just hanging a feeder inside a cage and would not just hang a feeder outside the cage since conures and parrots can lift more than their weight and could either escape, or injure themselves trying.

The ceramic feeders might be the safest and least expensive route. Any recommendations ?

I feed my birds from standard metal dishes. The only mess problems I have are with Dante, who has tended to throw food around. I resolved that by feeding him twice daily instead of just once in the morning, and putting less feed in the dish. Now, he eats what he needs and isn't tempted to play with his food during the day, so there's much less mess.
