We have a happy hut for our two GCCs and theyve never messed in or on it. If you're worried about safety make your own out of polar fleece, it has no proper weeve and so doesn't fray, any part that would've frayed just comes away

:swaying: Tweetle Dee sleeps in a coconut still in the hull. I made a hole on one side and scraped it then washed it. He took to it right away. Before that he and Tweetle Dum slept in a Baby Wipe box.

Starbuck has slept in his Happy Hut for 2 years now. When he's tired he just crawls from his tree into his cage and right in there and makes little snorting noises. So cute! Each night after I cover his cage I whisper through the sheet and say "nite nite -- love you" and he says it back in his little Sun Conure talk. He's my baby!
