That's such a big cage for such a small bird!

He has a palace! What a lucky bird! :)

If his new cage ever shows up Alex will also have a palace to play in when I have to be away.

But he's such a high energy bird that I bet he uses every inch of that space!

This is how I have the cage setup... Only one week to go until I get my sennie now :)

Do you think there's too much stuff inside?

oh lovely issy

I love the wild eastern rosella's we get here. we have a flock that comes to visit batman every day.
On the one occasion in summer that we went to bed with our sliding door open we woke up to the flock in our loungeroom LOL

No, but not enough perches. Of course if you add some more perches there will be less room for some of that stuff. I like to provide a variety of perches ranging from thick to thin and varying jaggedness. So there is never more than one machined perch like I see dominating your cage (or none more often) and then some perches with bark, some without, a filing perch, and a rope based perch. Usually I have about 3-5 perches and no more than 4 toys. I change the cage layout about once a month.

I don't have pictures right now, but both our Senegal's and Red Bellied's cages are 18 x 18 x 36. When we first got Jessie and Lucy, those were the biggest cages we had room for in our small condo. I'd like to get them bigger ones down the road, but they seem happy. Jessie, our Senegal uses every inch of her cage. Lucy, our red-bellied doesn't venture down past her food bowls at all.
