I do like that last one and it is in my price range, my only issue is I like to buy stuff at stores and I am not big on shipping online since I live in an apartment and there are always issues whenever I order something LOL, and I am sure there would be bigger issues since it is large.
But I do like it a lot, do you have to use the stand or can you place it on something else?
I may have to suck up my buying online issues haha.

If not, I am not against added 100 - 150 dollars more to my 150 cage budget and I am hoping I could find something locally that isnt junky like the ones I posted earlier. xD

Believe it or not, cages are often cheaper online with shipping than in stores. They make a huge markup for stocking that bulky cage for a long time.

Yeah after just quickly checking out some of my local places for cages under 300... That does seem like the best option and it is bigger then the others.

Question though,
The cage that GlassOnion posted... is the stand attached or can I put the cage on top of a different stand or table?

Thanks.

Stand is not attached, you just just lift the cage off of it. It's such an awesome cage.

Great choice Glass Onion. The A&E cage is very similar to the very popular HQ flight cage. I personally prefer the A&E as it has one HUGE door compared to the HQ's 2 tiny doors.

Onion, I see that you are from BC.

Did you have to pay Canada duty fees when you ordered from them?
Thanks!

I think I will be getting a lot of stuff from there. :gcc:

Oh, I didn't buy it from Kathie (owner of the store). But I know her and she's famous for her exceptional customer service. I would shoot her an email just to check about the duty fees.

Unfortunately there are shipping costs to Canada + the 6% duty fee. So I won't be able to afford that one - Though she was fantastic with customer service like you said, so I will be buying toys from her in the future for sure!

I do think I found one that looks perfect and is close by and in my price range.
It's on ebay, but I live close so I could just go pick it up and not have to deal with shipping costs.

What do you guys think?

I really like it and it's a good price for the size, plus it has a locking system I believe. :gcc:
You can see more pictures of it once you scroll down.

Sorry I haven't gotten back on to respond. I actually bought my cage at a smaller pet store in NH aaaaaand.... I definitely got hosed. The one I have looks almost exactly like the one GlassOnion posted but I spent about $50 more. The only feature mine has that this one doesn't is it came with a removable seed skirt. A handy feature since my bird makes a huge mess, but I ended up taking it off because of how much room the cage took up with it on. Womp womp.

The one you just posted from eBay doesn't look like it says how wide the spacing on the bars is. I know that it says the cage is for budgies, but you might want to shoot a message to the seller just in case. It's hard to tell from the photo, but they look pretty far apart. Your bird might stick their little head in there and get stuck.

I ended up getting this cage for my gcc. I liked how easy it was to put together (took me about 20 min the first time, then about 10 min each additional time once I figured out what I was doing), large doors to be able to clean the cage. It's powder coated, 0.6" bar spacing, metal tray and bottom grate both pull out for easy cleaning. On rollers so it's easy to move. Three outside access food bowls. The top does open, but I don't like the way it opens (only the removable perch keeps it open) so I probably won't use that option unless I tie it down first. Overall I'm very happy with this cage. My new gcc I'm hoping will love it as well! I won't be bringing him/her home for another month.

I did get this cage at an Exotic Bird Expo that is held locally every quarter so I even got it for quite a bit less than what I've seen it advertised on line for.
