Never mind- found the link and video for your tree. Very nice indeed! How do you keep it clean and cover the table underneath?

Can you post a picture of Trumans tree? I have not seen it.

I don't cover the table. I don't care about it. I just wipe it down every now and then. I keep newspapers on the floor on either side to protect the floor. I clean off the tree once a week. It doesn't get too dirty luckily. At the time of day when Truman is out on it, he doesn't poop very much.

I really like the tree, but I probably wouldn't put that many toys on it at once. I would be concerned with my bird pooping on the toys.

It would be prohibitively expensive to ship to the UK so my answers are probably a bit useless, but if you were based in Europe I would say:

1) Safety of hazardous materials - 10
2) Ease of cleaning - 6
3) Durability - 7
4) Aesthetics - 2
5) Food bowls - 0
6) Wheels - 0
7) Keeping the bird on* - n/a
8) How tall would you want the tree to be? - 1.2m then it can be tall enough to stand on the floor but short enough that it can also go on a low table.
9) What size base board? - wouldn't be too bothered
10) How many perches? - 6

I would be willing to pay for a tutorial / personalised advice on how to make a super awesome tree like Truman's though. Perhaps you could do something like that.

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

1) Safety of hazardous materials - 10!
2) Ease of cleaning - 7
3) Durability - 10 - Rather pay extra for a durable one than having to buy a new one too soon :)
4) Aesthetics - 6
5) Food bowls - 5
6) Wheels - 7
7) Keeping the bird on* - 10 - Getting one of these to help him have fun, I think it's important that he likes to be there :D

8) How tall would you want the tree to be? Max 150cm tall, I don't like him to be above my head for too long. He gets a bit aggressive.

9) What size base board? Enough so no perches stick out from it :) I believe this would prevent mess outside of the tree.

10) How many perches? 6 - 8!
