Is this alright for a new cage?

Postby paper_lantern » Sun Aug 26, 2012 4:13 pm

I'm ordering a new cage for Chubby, my GCC. He is currently in a cage which I bought used from a family member however I think it's time for a new one. I like the play stand and seed catcher that comes with this one. Is the size and everything ok? I'm new to buying cages and want to make sure this is a good cage for a GCC. Is it big enough?

sorry im late, you probably already made your decision!
but i just want to state that i prefer cages that are wider than they are tall. 22" by 22" in width/length is pretty narrow. for a green cheek, maybe 30" by 30", 30" by 25", or something like that. my budgies' cage was 36" wide, and i think 20 something inches in depth, and 60" tall.

hope i helped!
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.
