Nest box

Postby AlbertaAviary » Mon Aug 27, 2012 11:07 am

I quit freestyle skiing and I'm not doing anything this winter. I'd love to get involved with my. Undies more. I take them out for a few hours everyday but I'd love to make birds somehow my hobby. I have some questions about breeding them and nest boxes.

I know I cannot force them to have babies, but is there a way I can make them do it willingly?

How often would I have to hand feed the babies, and how old will they be when they no longer need to be fed?

What can I use for a nest box? I have a birdy tent and card board boxes that fit inside the cage. I also have a shoe box I could doctor up. What needs to go inside a nest box?

Thanks ! :budgie:
