Bird shampoo? I've never heard of it. What does it do and why do you use it?

I've never heard of bird shampoo either...

Here is a video of Piper bathing. The last few seconds of her bath because apparently having the camera out meant that she was done

Cute video of Piper.... Sometimes, I sit the video camera down on the counter or shelf & then go about my business with the birds... This way they act naturally & don't get distracted by the camera...

I use the cockatoo shampoo by King's Cages.. I use it only on Jasmine because her feathers are white... Sometimes my makeup gets on her or she's broken a blood feather & water won't get everything off as easily... It's probably similar to baby shampoo just marked up & repackaged for birds.. lol.... I typically don't wash by her beak or eyes with the shampoo.

I take my birds in with me when I take my daily shower, they love the steam. As for a bath my Sun Conure tends to tell us when he wants a shower. That tends to happen mostly when we are fixing dinner. My Lovebird likes to take his in his water bowel. :swaying:
