Aside from the obvious age, sex, etc I'd like to know specific sub species owned. I have yet to see a pet Senegal with a red vest. I'm sure there are other things but it's almost 2 in the morning so my thinking is not at its best!

That's a great idea! I'm so excited to see what comes out of it. I think everything you mentioned is great, plus location of purchase too maybe?

I think a breeder list would suffice for this ^^

You should add a place where pois owners can recomend advice, products, etc. for begginers, and aspiring owners. As I am still very intrested in a Red-Bellied.

That kinda stuff belongs more on the forum whereas poicephalus.org is supposed to be an informative and social network site. Parrot questions and discussions are better left on this forum.

I really like the survey idea.... hearing from actual owners about their birds is one of my favorite things. You can read "profiles" till you're cross eyed. But hearing from actual owners is where you find real life examples of behaviors, personalities, and what to expect/how to prepare.
It's why I got a Cape. I NEVER met one before Capri came home. But I loved Poi's due to Elle (my adopted Red Belly) and wanted to know more about the species. Discovered the Capes. Then I searched for people who owned Capes already to find out more about them. It was what sold me on a bird I've never met before!

Great idea!!!
