While it is possible that Luna will do a turn about and start doing more exploring, I don't think that I would hold my breath waiting for it to happen. Pionus parrots are know as perch potatoes. I really can't say if this is true or not because I do not have one of these species of parrots. But, I would say that this reputation is widespread enough that there is probably some foundation to it in real life.

I've seen everyone mention it, and so far my experiences with Luna definitely reinforce it. Makes for a really well behaved parrot, which is really nice considering this is the first bird Michael has ever met.

Yes, both pies and zons are perch potatoes. They can fly and will - but only if they have to.
