This is the thing i found on refridgerated foods - its for budgies and its on the RSPCA website:
"Never give greens which have been in the refrigerator."

parrots arent mere ornaments, and they're hardly "just a pet" they are intelligent and emotional creatures who want our companionship. As a bird owner, its a pleasure to make my parrots lives as happy, enriched and healthy as possible

It gives absolutely no reason for the statement and I find some of the other advice in the article dubious. Further, it states "never give greens that HAVE BEEN refrigerated". This is almost impossible unless you grow them yourself. Is there another source?

That statement is a bit ambiguous... It reads as saying to never give greens that have been refridgerated sometime... Although I would assume it means don't give greens that have just come out of the fridge? i.e. don't give cold food?
