Yes, indeed, this is a GREAT site! There are many bird forums out there -and I have belonged to several of them- but this site is not only totally dedicated to GOOD advice but it's also like a small family, we all know each other, we love everybody's birds and we all try to help one another as best we can.

I will always be grateful to Wolf for staying up with me when Corsair swiped one of my cat's blood pressure pills. Just having someone to talk to was very comforting. And when we signed off it was late West Coast time, and beyond late to not very early in NC. He will be sorely missed.

I don't know what to say, because words cant really describe this terrible loss.

Firstly.
Pam, we don't know each other, but your beautiful husband gave me more than words can describe.
He is a very very special man. I knew he was sick, but had no idea to what extent, irrespective of his condition he gave so much of himself. My heart aches for you, and I am so so sorry.

On a personal note, Wolf was my bird God! But also so much more than that, I have spent most of my time on this forum in private message with Wolf, we spoke about many things, and his thoughts and feelings have always been treasured, not to mention enlightening. I would always eagerly await his reply! Wolf became known to all my family, because I couldn't stop talking about him, he made a large impact on my life, and I have always considered him as a personal friend. His support in my times of need has been overwhelming. I only wish I could have given more back.

I must also say, currently we have a gorgeous beautiful bird, who is so deeply a part of our family, and I give Wolf so much credit for that, his teaching and advice has enabled us to understand how to achieve this, in so many ways! And I will miss his coaching and advice dearly.

Finally I just want to say how deeply touched I am by the key members of this forum, its like a family on its own, and although I am not always active, I feel very proud to be a small part of this beautiful forum, thank you all, and thank you Wolf.

Wolf was a very special person and described you as his special person. He referred to you as his Lady.

I had many conversations with Wolf and I have been very busy and just found this now. He was a very special gentle man, and I feel the loss. I am so happy those of you stepped in and moved and took in his little parrot loves. All the best Pam, you were blessed to have known such a gentle caring man.
