I often wonder what they are thinking when they do weird stuff like that because it's obvious that there is a thought process there otherwise they would not consistently prefer one thing over another. I have found, though, that they change their preferences - they go 'through changes' as we used to say in the 90's  I wish I could read their minds! I bet their thoughts are much more complex than we give them credit for...

Having given it serious thought Gale , you really shouldn't allow him to fly in his hat. You need to make two pots into a pair of flying goggles !! Don't forget to knit a scarf too.

Well, you're right...
That flying /helmet this game HAS to be dangerous. I'm only going to let him have that size INSIDE the cage. He can have the other sizes outside it.
I really DO wonder what they're thinking.
Very systematic and consistent... until they're not!!!!!

Maybe it does feel like a throne to him. It makes him a little taller to look out on the world.

They do have complex thought. They even premeditate. I have found if they are just sitting alone quietly but they are doing that thing with their eyes, that I am in for it. They are premeditating something they plan to do. It is usually something that will come back on me.

I inadvertanly scared Myrtle one time that was really bad. She did not speak to me for 10 days. They can also hold a grudge.

And, going by the look on his face, NOBODY is to touch HIS throne!

Myrtle Beach has syandards.

The Rb is probably plotting his revenge on me for a little incident earlier today concerning the nonshari g of a chocolate covered strawberry...

He loves that throne. Gets oddly calm on it. And verify territorial about it.
