Sympathetic parrot

A video of a parrot coughing just like its owner but, what I liked the best was his asking: "You alright?"

I have had a bad cough for quite a while and it is getting worse. Myrtle came to my shoulder to comfort me during a coughing spell. She leaned forward to look right in my face. She then sneezed in my face.

  Yes, they do that. They have no respect for 'personal space' at all! Have that cough checked out, Liz. I have COPD and every single little thing I catch either goes straight to my chest or ends up there after 'traveling' around my body so I well know about coughs that stay for days and days BUT I know what is causing it every time.

I finally went to the doctor with a sinus infection. He found that I had broncitus and pneumonia also. He put a mask on my face, loaded me up with meds and sent me home for bed rest. He has more meds from VA hospital in Gainesville coming in on "overnight".

OMG, LIZ!!!! You should have gone to the doctor sooner! We can't afford to 'let things go' at our age... Hope you feel better real soon!

My sinus infection was driving me crazy for at least a week before I could find a doctor. Mine is out for a week and The Villages were too busy to take me. I try to stay in the VA system with my medical. What they record is kept in file for all the other doctors to see. I thought my ribs were hurting from coughing.
I am going to be okay. My glass is half full.

So now you have a plan B doctor? Because, if you don't, you should. And don't be shy about going to the emergency, either!

I have VA specialty clinics all around me but they don't have emergency rooms. The VA hospital is in Gainesville so it takes a little travel. I need to decide on which civilian emergency clinic I want to use when the VA can't help me.

Yes, you do need to do that! And as soon as possible - because one never knows!

Chance asks, "Are you okay?" It's very sweet.

Liz, Chance and I want to know "are you okay?" :gray:
