Just for fun i thought that maybe we could post pictures or stories about our senegal parrots.

Bobbi loves pomegranate but he spits the red juice every where, and it stains things :?

yeah you would think that he's a girl but we got his tail feathers DNA tested and they said boy :senegal:

I would have that DNA done again and, this time, use blood (I request the kit before I take them to the vet and ask him to put a little bit of the blood they draw for their tests in it) because I seriously doubt that Bobbi is a boy.

Yes, pomegranate, black cherries, blueberries and blackberries are murder on EVERYTHING their juice touches (and the resulting poop afterward!) but they are super nutritious precisely because of the antioxidants that the blue color has in fruits.

Don't you separate the seeds from the yukky white 'skin' in the pomegranates? You might want to try it because I think it makes for a cleaner feed for them...
