Nests

Does anybody use nests made out of woven grass for the small species?

My cockatiels like soda can boxes and it is easy for me to see in.

The nests I am talking about are not the 'regular' woven nests that people use for passerines - you know, the little bowl thingie you hang from the sides of the cage. They look like a short, squat and fat jar with the opening being narrower than the bottom of it and a small 'lip' that curves outward and can be used for perching. And, yes, I give my birds boxes, too - all kinds and all sizes from a 12 pack soda can box to a 12 or a 24 beer bottle, 24, 32 or 40 cat food cans to a large/medium size that brings the cat litter and the big one of 100 diapers PLUS any Amazon box I get. I go through LOTS AND LOTS of boxes this time of the year.
