trick help do the dead

Postby nonelo27 » Thu Apr 25, 2019 4:33 am

Hello my name is Lorena I am from Spain and my English is very bad, I help with the Google translator. I have a parrot from Senegal, she is a female and she is 3 months old, her name is PICU.
I really like Kili's trick of the dead.
Can you tell me how it is done? Thank you :redbelly:

I am going to reply to the OP in Spanish but, basically, I am saying the same thing I always say: babies should NOT be trained, just fed and loved.

Do not be angry, please!!
Thanks for your response, I thought that she could train, I have never had parrots. She receives a lot of love and is very well cared for.
Because if baby trains can have problems?
I have seen people with parrots of 4 and 5 months and train them.
Thank you very much for writing me in Spanish. Do you know how to speak Spanish or do you use the translator? :senegal:

Yo naci y me crie en Uruguay, South America. No necesito el traductor.

Yes, a lot of people do A LOT of wrong things with parrots. But parrots are like any other animal, including humans, and we know not to train animals when they are too young. Dogs don't get formal training until they are, at least 7 months old when a small breeed and even older when they are a larger one, and horses training doesn't start until they are 2 years old.

It's not as if you are not going to be teaching the bird things. You will be. But it will be like a mother teaches a child to sit straight, to walk, to talk, not to touch hot things, etc. And so you will be teaching your baby how to step up, step down, come when you call her, etc. but all of these things are not done through actual training, they are done as you love the parrot and spend time with her by repetition and praise when they do something well. The MOST important thing with a baby is to make the baby love you and that is not done through training but through patience, time and lots of love. And, PLEASE do NOT clip her wings!

The OP is asking me to respond in Spanish and asking if it's true that female quakers are not good talkers. I told her it's actually the opposite, that, in quakers, it's the females that speak much better than the males and that my Keku says a lot of things, both in Spanish and English.

Olvide preguntarte si tu tienes you yous.

Dice muchisismas cosas: Que rica papa! Que rico beso! Pretty bird! What a pretty bird! Yeah! I love you! Come here! Come on!, etc.

I am just explaining about handfeeding until the baby is old enough not to want it any longer, soft food and solar schedule. Plus, I am telling her that female quakers speak better than males.

Imagino que los loros you you no hablaran tanto ¿Verdad? He visto vídeos en youtube de loros you you y hay muy poquitos donde se vean que hable. Un abrazo, y mil gracias por ayudarme.
