Hi From Eastbourne, UK

Hi everyone.

Have joined so I can learn more about Parrots, especially Senegals. :senegal:

I have just placed a deposit on my Senegal (Darwin) and she will be home with me in around a month. I am therefore taking the opportunity to learn a little bit more. I have already sourced my nearest Avian specialist vet. amongst other things.

I have some experience of birds. When I lived on the Isle of Wight I ended up hand rearing a Cockatiel , the little guy was called Zulu and was an amazing friend. He used to whistle along with me and follow me around. Sadly I was unable to take him with me when I moved but he ended up with a lonely old man and they got on great. :D

Since then I've always wanted another bird and am finally in the position where I am able to. I look forward to learning from you all.

I'll stop rambling now!

Thank you.

I was just admiring the pictures of your birds in another thread. They seem to get along well!
