Well, although it looks funny to see a wild animals walking on a sidewalk, I am sure that whether it's dirt, grass, rocks, tiles, concrete or asphalt makes no difference to them.

A large gator was turned into the Humane Society with a broken leg. It was a pet and they said he thought he was a cat.

The Humane Society? It must be a local one and not the one we all know because that one is just a lobbying organization. I wonder what they will do with the poor confused thing because it can't be released, it can't be kept as a pet and it will be very depressed if sent to a zoo even if they find a zoo that wants it. If there was only a law prohibiting keeping complex undomesticated species as pets...

Facebook had a video of a turtle opening a sliding glass door to go in the house. She did not close the door behind her.

 She needs to be taught better manners... But, seriously speaking, opening a door is a HUGE feat for a turtle!

A large family was having Thanksgiving dinner when they heard someone beating on their back door. It was a gator trying to get in to join them for Thanksgiving dinner.

It is raining Iguanas. We are very cold and this is unusual. Iguanas are freezing and falling asleep. They fall out of their trees and lay there until they warm up again.

People have been told to leave them alone that they are okay. Some people have brought them in their houses to warm them up but it is not a natural thing for them. Nature has to take care of them.

I rescued an iguana. They are very intelligent. (mine even house broke itself). I wonder if they dream while they are asleep.

Poor things! Climate change has a reach much farther than people realize... We are making the air unbreathable, the water undrinkable, species are dying like flies, the sea ecosystems are out of whack and filed with garbage, entire countries are burning or flooded and governments are sitting on their hands and promoting the same industries that created and are still adding to the problem! It makes no sense!

It is the season for Iguanas to freeze and fall out of trees. People are being told to leave them alone. As soon as it warms up they will wake up and resume their day.
