And then there was a Lovebird...

Just so that Piper doesn't feel left out of my recent picture posting frenzy..

Piper is the hardest bird to take pictures of here. He won't stay still and most of the time, he tries to join me behind the camera...

Piper is adorable! :swaying:

I had a Piper too...one of my 'tiels...he made it to ~ 24 years of age...lol...and he was such a grumpy bird until he was about 18...then he mellowed out...

Her blue/teal is amazing! And it looks great with her peach head. What kind of lovebird is she?

You beat me to the punch. I was just about to ask :D
He really is beautifull. Its a shame they are almost impossible to keep in an aviary with other birds.
How is he getting along with the rest of your flock?

He's a peachface lovebird, I believe he's either known as a dutch blue or seagreen mutation.

His feet are indeed dark :)

How he gets along with the others? Well he thinks he's bigger than them for sure and is not easily intimidated, but for the most part, stays out of their way or is on me.

I thought so too...but his dad was a seagreen and was much MUCH more green-ish than him.
