Hi and welcome to the forum! My favorite species is the quaker but, in truth, I go more for the personality than the actual species. I am confused though because you put on your profile that you have a New Zealand parrot but those are non-flighted and, as far as I know, they are never kept as pets. And there is no 'true parrot' species, either. It's the common name for a super family that consists of more than 300 species...
