Sorry to interrupt your conversation, but what are rose coloured glasses?

To look at the world and think its beautiful... without seeing all the ugliness that humans create.

Well - Myrtle is making more sence. She was yelling "come'er come'er quick quick". I finally asked her "you gotta problem". She said "Rambo won't come'er". He had climbed down from his cage and was walking to my mom's room.

I started this thread to give info on my kids in case something happended to me there would be others that knew about them and might take them in.

These two are getting together more often. Usually over food.

Rambo still will not say Myrtle.

I have to tell you something funny. The other night we were watching TV and Myrtles baby babble started drowning out the sound. I told Myrtle "Rambo says come're". She looked around the room for him then took off to find him. It worked. I had been telling her "shut up" but she just said "no" every time.

Hi Liz, I hope you are feeling better. tell laducockatiel that rose colored glasses were invented for chickens. yes chickens. when a chicken sees blood, it will peck the injured bird to death.( or so i was told) but supposedly it means to look through rose colored glass will make your world look rosy. Liz your babies sound like so much fun! :gray: :amazon:

There is no Amazon noise in the house right now. When I looked for them, they are in the sunroom. They are working together destroying some cardoard boxes I put out there. All I hear is the sweet sound of cockatiels and a lovie chirp now and then.

Peace wonderful peace. I was hoping they would get along like this but it sure didn't look like it for a long time.
