Hey, it's a fair assumption that she might not have been waiving ;)
I have pictures of my birds where it looks like they are waving when it truth, they were in the middle of a scratch...The second picture of Joey on that first page as well as the fifth picture of Petey on the same page are examples of that.

Now cmon, honestly. What do you think is easier, to stand around all day and wait for her to just so happen to decide to pick her foot up (and not her dominant foot while you're at it) or to just say "wave"

I don't think it has much to do with it.
My birds often scratch when I'm taking pictures of them.

I think there is a bit chance it might happen without having to wait too long. All comes down to if your fast enough to catch it ;)

Cute pictures.
Are you sure Noodle is a male? Was he DNA sexed? He kinda looks like a female to me ;)

I do not know Noodle's sex but you're not the first one to say they think he's a she.
How do you tell?
I got them DNA sexed when I bought Marvin but I am still waiting for the results!

They head seems rounder than flat (females heads are rounder, the males more flat on top) and the V goes reasonably low (females tend to have a V that goes low on their chest compared to males).

Not 100% way of sexing Sennies, but to me she looks more like a female based on these things :)
