How to make training perches:

Step: 1; go to Gamestop and buy the GuitarHero/Rockband microphone stand.

Step 2; When it is opened adjust the stand to below your eye level. where the mic should go, replace with a twig or drumstick.

Final step; duct tape the twig to the stand

I'm not a vet and I'm not an expert on adhesives, but I have a feeling that a parrot would like to chew on duct tape if it could, and would ingest it and the adhesive which could be toxic or harmful.

I have to say that I do NOT like PVC for parrots. It's completely indigestible and can cause crop impaction as well as an occlusion further down the digestive tract.

No only the bottom is made out of pvc pipes. The actual perch itself is covered with vet bandage.
