GCC and talking

Postby Wendy40 » Wed Jul 16, 2014 2:30 am

Hiya everyone just wondering how many of you have a GCC :gcc: that talks? What does he/she say? How long did it take to train her? Can they be trained to speak?

My little Ozzie is proving to be such a delight and a real character :)

yes my :gcc: penny talks. he says "love you" ,"hey baby" and "mommy" he used to say "sleep sleep " at bedtime. I taught him "love you" in about 2 weeks the rest he already said when I got him.

Leo talks, he says "I love you", "Step up", "Pretty bird", "Nite-nite", whistles and makes kissy noises. Males are better at talking than females.

I really hope our little Ozzie learns to talk. We always say to him stuff like "step up", "good boy" Nite nite" "morning" "love you" and just for a bit of fun we say "where's the body" lol.

I must say he is a real pleasure to have he is only 15 weeks old and this is our second week of having him and he seems to have settled in fantastically well :) they certainly love shoulders that's for sure :)

Fajr talks! He says "step up", "pretty bird", "mitthu" (parrot equivalent of saying "kitty" to a cat), and also picked up the whistle my dad uses to signal to him :)

He only says pretty bird when he's angry as a warning he's willing to bite. Usually when we try and get him off of my dad's shoulder.

Ollie only says hello, he occasionally says other things that sounds like he is trying to talk but unfortunately I can never tell what it is- if its anything
