I wouldn't leave the room. For me what I did with my GCC was when he would start to grab and each time it got harder once it got to hard I would say quit. But then I would continue to hold him so that he knew biting was not going to change anything. after a few days he started to let up on having to bite every time he stepped up. Just my thoughts. :gcc: :jenday:
