It kind of gives you a timeline of how your thinking and research has changed over the years in terms of avian intelligence. And I agree with the school that says that because parrots do not 'pass' the mirror test, it does not mean they are not self-aware - they use proper names, for heaven's sake, of course they are self-aware! And I put it here because people tend to believe that taming and basic training is more a matter of technique than of understanding the way they think - which I think it's completely incorrect.
