skeeter used to do that not anymore hardly i think its a phase.

Actually, sorry to break it to you, but these phases can come back. For instance Kili had a nippy phase initially but then it went away. Recently she's been nippy again (probably as the result of molt and being over fed). So yeah, it's a fact of life with parrot ownership. That's why I got another :mrgreen:

:lol: Okay, well I'll stop being such a wussy, I'm really glad I asked though otherwise I'd still be freaking out trying to find out what I've done wrong. I'm relieved that she's a happy, normal bird that isn't bipolar. I don't think she's preening me, she does that other times and she's very gentle when she does it. Normally with my fingertips, nails, and hair. Thanks so much for everyone's support and quick answers. At least next time we go through this phase, I'll know what to expect and what to do! :thumbsup:
